Public Land Gallery makes contact with Aryo Toh Djojo's newest body of work, 5 3 1 8 0 0 8 6 1 8. This will be Djojo's first exhibit at Public Land Gallery, consisting of both airbrush and graphite works. Djojo's close encounters with the familiar pair seamlessly with those of an extraterrestrial kind. The artist melds science fiction and satire, while occasionally using iconic Los Angeles landmarks as his setting. Djojo's refined skills in airbrushing often leave viewers questioning whether they are surveying a blurred photograph, or sharing in that obscure moment when Djojo's consciousness converges with his subconscious.

About the Artist

Aryo Toh Djojo attended Art Center College of Design where he received a BFA. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. His practice spans airbrush and graphite, blending science fiction, satire, and surrealism.
