This Euphorbia is native to the Mozambique Channel Islands and Madagascar. Preferring warmer temperatures and low humidity, these plants thrive in arid, dry climates with temperatures staying around 65F-85F. Their natural habitat are tropical to subtropical dry shrublands and evergreen forests on calcareous coastal dunes and marble rock outcrops. The olive-green, wax coated spinous branchlets makes this plant unique in its own right. Looking like something you would find on another planet, this plant is threatened due to habitat loss and sought out by collectors of cool and unique plants.
Plant is in 4" pot.
