Bill Daniel + Friends
GAS 2 SF
April 5 – June 9, 2025 | Public Land Gallery, Sacramento
Public Land Gallery is excited to present GAS 2 SF, a group photo exhibition curated by San Francisco-based multidisciplinary artist Bill Daniel featuring fellow lackadaisicals, with a film screening of his durable movie Who is Bozo Texino?. An inconclusive collection of artists seemingly obsessed with getting from here to there — without any reasonable explanation why, except perhaps for the possibility of something skatable, markable, or catchable along the way.
Featuring work by Mike Brodie, Mia Justice Smith, R. Virgel, Tobin Yelland, John Longyear, Karoline Collins, Brad Westcott, David Eberhardt, Xara Thustra, Monica Canilao, Abby Banks, Sluto, Droid 907, Max Otake, Ivy Jeanne McClellan and Anson Cyr. Plus, a 20th-century hobo journalism display by (unlicensed) media historian Dave H.
